Blemishes
All CPE Knives products are handmade. Every effort is made to ensure that products are as high performing and attractive as possible. That being said hand made products such as these may have blemishes or inconsistencies. These type of blemishes do not affect the performance of the product and as such are not covered by the warranty. Pictures will be made available prior to purchase detailing the finish and appearance of the product. If you would like additional pictures of any particular feature for inspection prior to purchase just let us know.
Delivery
Delivery estimates will be given upon starting a project. Every effort will be made to achieve these estimates and CPE Knives will communicate any delays that occur to the buyer. The estimate is not a guarantee and should not be relied upon as such.
Shipping
Standard shipping is via USPS and UPS depending on the current shipping rates. Shipping quotes will be provided prior to purchase for international orders so there are no surprises. International shipping is at the risk of the buyer. Refunds will not be given if the product is confiscated by customs, damaged in shipment or lost in shipment. The buyer is responsible for ascertaining and following all international laws concerning the transport of a purchased CPE Knives products prior to ordering.

Knives are extremely sharp tools and should only be used with the utmost care and caution. Any use other than properly cutting appropriate materials is considered misuse and abuse. Misusing or abusing any CPE Knives product may damage the product and cause serious injury or death.

When inserting or removing your knife from the supplied sheath make certain that your are clear of the sheath opening. Partially blocking the opening when inserting or removing the knife will cause injury.

Neck knife sheaths are carefully fit at the time of production to ensure that they securely hold the knife. The sheath may wear over time and should be checked for proper retention before using or carrying the knife. Failure to do so may damage the product and cause serious injury or death.

Knife Care
Knife edge should be maintained to ensure that excessive effort is not necessary to perform cutting tasks. Knives should be stored clean and dry to prevent corrosion including blades made of stainless steel. CPE products made using carbon steel will develop a patina over time through use.
Sheath Care
Sheaths supplied by CPE Knives that are made out of thermoform plastic such as Kydex or Boltaron should not be cleaned with chemicals for example paint thinner or acetone. They will be damaged. Sheath should be cleaned with dish soap and water. A soft brush may be used to remove any excess dirt. All sheaths are fit to the knife with some clearance to minimize scratches on the blade. If requested sheaths can be tight fit to reduce potential rattle but the tighter the fit the more the blade will be scratched when inserted or removed. In addition dirt or debris that is allowed to accumulate inside the sheath will cause scratches. If the blade is intended for display or if scratches are an issue the blade should not be inserted in the plastic sheath. A leather sheath should be acquired for the blade. Leather sheaths should be treated regularly with a conditioner and waterproofing agent to prevent premature wear
